The Blessing of the Hounds, featured above, is a much anticipated festive annual event, occurring each fall on Thanksgiving Day, Riverplains Farm.

Spectators and foxhunters turn out in record numbers, with hunt folk giving thanks for their bountiful blessings and the opportunity to spend time in the countryside with family and friends. It is a day to give special thanks for our Landowners--- whose beautiful farms help to preserve fox habitat, and whose generosity permits our sport to thrive.
