The Tennessee Valley Hunt

Organized foxhunting is growing in the United States. The Tennessee Valley Hunt is one of over 160 packs either registered or recognized by the Masters of Foxhounds Association of America. There are also many private and farmer packs throughout the country.
The Tennessee Valley Hunt is a private subscription pack.Hunting is by invitation of the Masters. Those invited to subscribe pay an annual fee benefitting the Kennel Fund and Hunt projects.
The purpose of the Tennessee Valley Hunt is to promote foxhunting in East Tennessee. Guests are welcome. The cap fee is $100 on weekends, holidays and joint meets; $75 on weekdays; $35 for juniors. Please contact a Master for an invitation. Their contact info is listed below.

Each year the Hunt makes a report to the MFHA. The following information is provided in the Hunt Roster Issue of the Chronicle of the Horse, published each September.
Established: 1989 Registered: 1991 Recognized by the MFHA: 1993
Foxhounds: 26 couples of Pennmarydel. Hounds went out 55 times last season.
Hunting: Fox and coyote
Season: September-Mid-March
Meet: Thursdays, Saturdays, and some Sundays in the regular season. Visitors permitted to hunt--for an invitation contact one of the Joint Masters.
The country consists of five non-contiguous areas in the vicinity of Knoxville and Maryville, TN One-half rolling pasture or farmland, remainder woodland. Extensive paneling, coops over wire fencing.
